Certificate III in Retail is targeted towards developing the skills and knowledge of those employees who may have greater industry experience or maybe in a supervisory role. To achieve a Certificate III in Retail a total of 10 units of competency must be completed.

This comprises:

• 3 core units and
• 7 elective units

Duration

 

The duration of this course can vary depending upon previous retail experience. Generally the duration ranges from 6 months to 24 months.

 

 

Assessment

 

The assessment is completed through a number of means. For example the participant will complete the following; short written assessments, observation of the trainee performing specific tasks, verbal questions, role plays, workbook tasks and supervisor feedbacks.
